News about a book…
…that I contributed to!
50 Fat Quarter Makes is now ready to pre-order from Amazon for delivery on the 25th June.
I am so excited to see this book (such a long time to wait!). It is by myself and another 10 contributors, including a few familiar names like Emily, Ali, Jesse and Louise.
I did the work for this last August and September – 5 different projects that I am really proud of, I can’t wait to share these with you!!
Anyway seeing as I have NO SEWING to show you at the moment I thought it would be a good time to announce this. I have a house full of grown-up sons and my husband is recovering from a minor operation, which has all proved too distracting for me to get anything done.
I have spent most of the week loading new fabric on to the website (so boring!), at least I can show you some of this. We have lovely new stuff from Riley Blake (above), Camelot (top) and Robert Kaufman, including this gorgeous In The Bloom line from Valori Wells. I’ve put together a bundle with some coordinating Kona Solids. It’s available in Fat Quarter and Fat Eighth versions.
Check out all our new fabrics here.
Right, I’m off to my sewing room now to start cutting these up and sewing them back together again!
Well done Jo!
Thanks for the mention Jo! I had no idea it was available for pre-order now, woho! I hope you're husband's recovering well, it's never nice to see them uncomfortable is it. xx
Exciting news lady.
Major hugs to hubby…but don't crush him!;)
How exciting for you!!!!! I hope your husband gets well soon too. x
Brilliant news, must be so exciting to see it on Amazon! Hope J gets better very quickly. Juliex
Such exciting news! Love the front cover of the book and I can't wait to read it. Loving those new fabrics too! Best wishes to J and good luck living with 3 men!!
Delighted you have put bundles together for those of us who are challenged in that department!
A very accurate description of our hobby: cutting up fabric and sewing it back together
I'm really looking forward to seeing your projects in the book! Hope Jonathan is recovering quickly!
Good luck with the new book Jo, looking forward to meeting up at QuiltCon soon
