New EPP Cushion Kits

Do you remember the Sweet Life pillow I made last year for Blend Fabric’s stand at Houston? Well I intended to make a kit of that particular cushion. However I never got my act together in time and now we have just about sold out of Cori Dantini’s The Sweet Life fabric. So I thought I would make the same cushion but in different fabric.
I made this EPP pattern up (as far as I know, I’m always aware that there can only be so many ways to cut fabric up and sew it back together again!) and I’m calling it House Party. I put a triangle on top of all the squares that surround a hexagon and it looked to me like a big ring of houses, or a party of houses!

I didn’t actually have time to re-make this cushion, which is all hand sewn EPP and hand quilted, so I asked my very conscientious staff member Jane to make it for me. Jane is also a wonderful hand sewer and a total star for doing this! Thanks Jane! Once we no longer need the sample cushion Jane will be able to keep it.

I chose Some lovely Joel Dewberry Botanics fabrics along with an aqua Flurry by Dashwood Studio and a dark coral spot from Robert Kaufman. I think it looks wonderful and the colours seem very ‘on trend’ (as they say!).
The kit contains absolutely everything you need to make the cushion cover (except the pad) and at a whopping 20 inches it’s great value at £22.99! Buy your’s here.

The Grandmother’s Flower Garden kit has been part of our craft kit range for a year or so and it’s very popular. However I thought it would be nice to have a new colourway. So Jane came to the rescue once again by making this cushion sample! It’s a good job Jane loves EPP!
For this cushion I chose one of my favourite fabrics of the last year from Joel Dewberry’s Bungalow collection, some more Flurry and a star from Tula Pink’s Foxfield. The background is Kona Mint.

Again everything is included except the pad (14 inch) and it costs just £14.99. You can buy it here and check out all our kits here (along with the original colourway for this design). I am planning a new Dresden Plate cushion kit very soon, just waiting for my order of Denyse Schmidt’s Hadley to arrive first!
