SG Blend Fabrics Competition Winner!

We had some wonderful entries for the SG Blend Fabrics Competition, thank you so much to everyone who took the trouble to make something and enter!

It was very hard for us judges to decide. I was ably assistant by my two partners in quilty crime, Karen Lewis and Lynne Goldsworthy.

In the end we decided that Kate should win for her beautiful sewing organiser AND for her Let it Snow panel (which Lynne is in love with and wants for herself!). We loved the details, and the way Kate had used the gorgeous Cori Dantini fabric in both these pieces.

But we were really torn because there were so many lovely things to choose from, and Pam’s gorgeous ‘Quilt for Laura’ and Dolores’ fabulous ‘Advent Calendar’ were very close to being chosen too.

So I’ve decided that we should have two runners up as well, and I will find something nice to send to both Pam and Dolores. So well done to you two too!  I will email all the winners next week.
