  3. Svetlana Sotak and Valerie Wells, Marcy and Katherine Tilton. Last three are from Oregon, USA. There are some other bag designers (Jessica from SewDaKine) that I would like to meet and pick their brains. Love surface design and fabric manipulation. Thanks for the giveaway.

  4. All so gorgeous looking. I would look through the book and choose a pattern out of there and make it with those lovely fabric pieces. Then when I would have a great reminder of the contest that I won them from. Not sure who I would want to learn from as all the teachers are great and each have different styles. Why not learn from all of them.

    1. I’d like to learn from someone I follow on IG, and that is Stina Blomgren. I love her freestyle quilting – it reminds me of your work!

  5. Thanks for the change to win the goodie bag! I have been quilting for over 20 years and have never been on a retreat☹️ But my ideal pair of teachers would be Bonnie Hunter, who started me on my Scrappy path of quilt making years ago, and Kaffe Fassett whom I would love to learn how to use his wonderful fabric to use up some of his stash of fabric that I have. Lol!!

  20. Angela Walter for free motion quilting, Alex Anderson for piecing and Bonnie Hunter for lessons on scrappy-ness. 🙂

  23. I would love ❤️ love to be brave and do a class with Lorraine Lea Turner at
Sewing Up a Storm in the Desert 2020 Uluru Textile Art Retreat , who knows what the future holds.
    Many Thanks.

  24. I’m very much a beginner and so would love you for your inspiration and patience. I’d also like Anthea from Quilting Antics for her humour and skills. It would be so much fun. I’ve been watching some Sewing Quarter programmes too for ideas but can’t remember more names for the dream team. Thank you!

  25. Oh, boy, what a question with so many possibilities. I would love to come to the UK from Canada and take a class from you or Linda or Laura Kemshall or maybe screen printing with Karen Lewis! . Then I’d go to Innsbruck Austria to visit my son.

  26. I’d love Edyta Sitar, Jen Kingwell, Tula Pink and Jenny Doan. You could throw in Brandon and Kaffe. Just imagine what this group of superstars could come up with.

  27. Well, you of course, Sara Fielke, and Lisa Lewis ( first name could be wrong, I always confuse her with someone else but I would love to learn to make pattern fabrics with stamps.

  28. What a question. My dream team would include yourself, Bonnie and Camille because I love their fabrics and designs, Jen Kingwell for her amazing scrappy quilts, and also an EPP class with Florence Knapp. Thank you for a fabulous giveaway.

  29. Anna Maria Horner has long been an inspiration to me, I would love to visit her shop and take a class with her. And I don’t know if she even teaches but I just love Maureen Cracknell’s style (and fabric). I love taking classes to learn and be inspired by the other participants as well.

  39. How fun and generous of you to do this. I would love to have you and Angela Waters . Everyone has such good suggestions. So much talent! Thank you and have a happy week!

  40. I’m loving this competition, spending too many hours googling all these quilters I didn’t know anything about! But to spend some time with Sheena Norquoy for use of nature in her quilts and Carol Munro for patience and precision would be brilliant.

  41. I would want to learn variety of quilt styles and techniques from teachers who are patient, fun and can explain things in a way I can learn. Lots of visuals and quilts for inspiration. Basic, intermediate and advanced. Improv, quilting, collage, paper piecing, techniques to make more complex things that lead the way for me to learn those that are way above my skill level like the award winning quilts.

  42. I would love to spend a week with Bonnie Hunter & Edyta Sitar. I love all their books and I mainly make scrappy quilts as I am not very good of putting fabrics together for a quilt. I love how they both make beautiful quilts and use up little pieces of fabric.

  43. Such a tough call! I adore Rachel from Stitched in Color, and Kate Basti (I follow her on IG), but there are literally hundreds of other people who inspire me and who I could learn a great deal from 🙂
