Commiserations to the rest of you but you are all leaving this experience with some beautiful finished (or nearly finished!) quilts, so that’s well done to everyone who took part!

It’s time to celebrate our Bedding Plants quilts and projects!

A huge well done to everyone who has taken part in my first ever QAL.  What a rewarding experience it’s been! I have to admit that I was a little dubious about the amount of work I’d signed up for with this and I remember thinking this could very well be my first and last QAL. But you guys have made this totally worthwhile by being so enthusiastic and appreciative. You’ve clearly loved making this quilt and being part of the QAL so much that I’m already thinking about the next one!

I never expected so much gratitude for doing this and I’ve been really humbled by it. And I’ve been so happy to hear participants saying how much they have learnt through this process and how they have surprised themselves. This is just fantastic and shows what we can all achieve when we work together and support each other.

I have also been delighted to see all the clever and creative adaptations you’ve made to the design! There’s been extra petals and flowers, rows mixed up, sizes of quilts changed and even whole new rows of sunflowers and birds added!  I’m so impressed with you all!

I’ve also really enjoyed using the patterns to make the extra ‘small projects’ and creating a few new tutorial and patterns along the way. I think they make a super little gallery of makes, as you can see at the top of this page.

Now it’s time to linkup our finished tops/quilts/projects and enter the Grand Prize Giveaway! I will be sending this massive haul of fabric, books and threads to one lucky winner!

I’ve compiled a little list of questions and answers below to help us navigate this next step…

How do I linkup an image of my quilt/project?

Your image needs to be posted elsewhere on social media first, this could be in the Facebook group, on Instagram or in a post on your blog. You then need the URL for this social media post, simply copy and paste the address from your browser and use this to enter the Linkup Party when URL is requested. If you are linking to your blog make sure to use the actual post URL not the whole blog address. Any problems just comment below or email me.

Do I need to finish my quilt (quilted and bound) to take part and be eligible for prizes?

No, you can enter pictures of completed quilt tops or finished quilts.

I already posted my quilt picture to Facebook / Instagram / my blog, am I entered into the linkup party?

No, you must link up your image here to be eligible. 

I loved the Bedding Plants quilt so much I made two (or more) versions, can I link up both of them?

Yes! You can link up all of the quilt tops/finished quilts or finished projects you made from the Bedding Plants QAL and each quilt gets an entry into the grand prize draw.

I changed the design (added motifs, arranged rows differently, changed size, etc), and/or I made one of your small project ideas (or my own) can I still enter?

Yes!  Any Bedding Plants variations and/or finished projects using the Bedding Plants design/pattern are eligible for prizes. Enter away!

Can I enter an image of my finished top today and then another of my finished quilt later in the week for two entries?

No, just one entry per item please!
