This wool came from our shop!
You have to see this totally incredible video for the new James song. Made completely with wool! And not just any old wool but Rooster Almerino Aran in Custard that was bought in OUR SHOP!!
The uber talented animator, Ainslie Henderson, bought up our whole stock while he was working on this and told us a bit about what he was doing with it. We have all been intrigued to see the finished result and are now totally stunned by this film. The animaton is fantastic but the whole concept is something else! I have seen it twice and cried both times, I now need to ration viewings or I will become a blubbering wreck. Who’d have thought wool could be so emotional!!
I have run out of superlatives to describe it, watch it and let me know what you think!
Oh my word, that is fantastic. Not surprised you were blubbing.
Well that made me cry. What an excellent video.
I know you warned us but I wasn't expecting to actually get teary eyed, but I did. Beautiful!
Awesome…sent it to the girl…she will love this!
Yup. Mucho tears here – and the dancing girl is phenomenal!
Superb work!
So powerful!
I cried. It is so beautiful.
I cried. It is so beautiful.
Absolutely amazing and so clever. It was quite emotional too.
So beautiful and touching, how amazing to be able to use yarn in that way! I will be forwarding a link to my 'Knitter Knatter' Friends at The Wool Stop in my local town.

Well that's me in bits. It's absolutely beautiful and has been on my mind ever since I watched it yesterday (I couldn't comment, I was too busy weeping!) – I can't imagine how on earth they made this video but I wish I had the talent that the animator has in his little finger nail. I've always loved James and now I love them even more.
I had already seen this amazing video and read some background on it but to hear the wool came from your shop as well, that really tops it. Truly brilliant animation
Such an amazing concept, how great that you got to contribute!
I've seen this video and was really moved by it. How amazing that the wool came from your shop!!

Awesome and very, very clever.
Ever since I saw this I can't stop watching it and try not to cry at the bit with the unravelling leg.
