Boho Pom Pom Cushions
Issue 10 of Love Patchwork and Quilting magazine should have hit the newstands by now here in the UK.
As usual it is packed to the gunnels (what are gunnels?) with amazing projects and fabulous fabric and quilty eye-candy!
This month my project is a trio of round cushions. These are my Boho Pom Pom cushions!
They are pretty big (20″) and squashy and are made with one of my favourite blocks – Dresden Plates.
I just love messing around with this block, it’s so versatile!
Round pillows look good in a stack.
The Pom Poms were the editor’s idea. She had the whole photo shoot planned out while we were still discussing the project!
I know I keep saying this but the thought and detail that goes in to the styling lifts this publication way above all it’s rivals.
This month I am also the subject of the ‘My Space’ feature with lots of lovely photos of our studio including this one of me working on my wool-eater blanket. I also rabbit on a lot about stuff, it’s quite interesting.
But don’t buy the magazine to read about me – you can do that here! Buy it for all those amazing projects!
Details of how to buy this issue are here and how to subscribe here.
Gorgeous! The pom poms are the perfect finishing touch!
Your little bit of gypsy soul is coming to play there girlie!:)
Photo of you is at the shop right? You look great….as always!:)
I agree , definitely a bit your old hippie peeking out there Jo. Beautiful work as ever .
They look gorgeous and pom-poms … And fussy cut centres … And bright and cheerful for summer too!
I love these. I've recently fallen in love with Dresdens so think I won't be able to resist having a go at a cushion or two……..even though I've told myself I mustn't start any new projects for a while!
This magazine just keeps on getting better, I really think this is the best issue yet. The cushions are really fun, love the vibrant colours used. x
So pretty!
They are beauts!
BTW it's "gunwales" which comes from gun walls of ships, but I think the spelling is changing as that's really old fashioned. http://www.phrases.org.uk/meanings/full-to-the-gunwales.html
Love your pillows! So pretty 🙂
I love those cushions!!
Your cushions are lovely, and Jenny really does know how she wants to shoot things before they are even made.
They look great, and what Kerry said about the gunwales ;o)
It really is an issue oozing with summer isn't it? And thanks so much for the mention of my quilt! x
